APRIL HAMILTON | PORTFOLIO
Creative Design, Multimedia & Communications
Design, video, motion, presentations, marketing, and communication systems—built around what people need to understand, see, and do.
What I do
I figure out how to make complicated information clear, visual, and useful.
Sometimes that means developing a campaign concept, explaining a product through video, redesigning a leadership presentation, producing a live event, or creating a communication platform that people can actually maintain.
My background spans brand and digital design, marketing, video, motion graphics, presentations, web, print, and employee communications. I like working out what the message needs—and I have the hands-on experience to make it happen.
The work rarely ends with one deliverable.
A marketing campaign might need a concept, landing page, social content, video, presentations, and sales materials. A company announcement might need a different mix: leadership talking points, employee messages, a live event, and resources people can find afterward.
I think about how those pieces fit together, but I also care about the details: the hierarchy of a slide, the pacing of an edit, the way a page works on a phone, or whether a template will still make sense to the next person using it.
I sought April out to help us with our internal communications, marketing, and company intranet. She’s the absolute best. Creative, smart, amazing judgment, and a true student of culture as the lens for all communications. I am so excited to be working with her for the second time.
Choose where to start
Explore the work by discipline. The projects cross categories, but each page shows a different part of how I approach design, storytelling, production, and communication.

Brand, Social & Digital Design
Brand and campaign concepts, social and digital content, design systems, employee graphics, and visual identities that hold together across channels.
Video & Multimedia Production
Story development, producing, directing, editing, sound, product education, recruiting, and live video—from planning through final delivery.

Presentation, Event & Communication Design
Executive and Board presentations, event design, sales materials, brochures, toolkits, and reusable layouts that make dense information easier to follow.
Motion Graphics
Explainer animation, logo motion, video graphics, meeting openers, and short-form pieces that make information easier to follow and remember.

Executive & Internal Communications
Leadership and employee communication, global broadcasts, culture and recognition programs, and the editorial and production systems behind them.

Intranets & Employee Communication Platforms
Intranets, employee resource hubs, information architecture, contributor training, and publishing systems built to help people find and maintain information.
Selected stories behind the work
The finished piece matters. So do the decisions, constraints, and production problems behind it. These stories show both.

200–300 REMOTE EMPLOYEES
Keeping a Fully Remote Workforce Connected
A recurring rhythm across CEO content, weekly video, intranet publishing, company updates, quarterly meetings, and culture communications.
Looking for someone who can help shape the idea—and make the work?
I’m interested in creative and marketing communications, multimedia, visual and presentation design, and employee experience. What connects those roles is the work I do best: finding a clear direction, solving the production problems, and making the pieces work together.
