Motion graphics are one of the ways I help make information clearer, more polished, and easier to follow.
My work includes product explainers, animated social content, kinetic typography, branded intros and outros, lower thirds, presentation graphics, podcast promotions, event visuals, and short-form videos designed for marketing, internal communications, sales, recruiting, and employee engagement.
I use motion to support the message — adding structure, pacing, brand consistency, and visual clarity so the content feels easier to understand and more engaging to watch.
Research Now Mobile Product Explainer Video
This project paired a print magazine ad with a mobile video experience. The printed ad used a full-page image, simple instructions, company branding, and a QR code that launched a video when scanned.
I created the video by compositing multiple stock video clips with branded visual elements, giving the print ad a more interactive and memorable digital layer.
Skills demonstrated:
Motion graphics, video compositing, print-to-digital campaign support, brand integration, editing, and creative problem-solving.
Quirk’s Magazine Interactive Video Ad
Created a branded motion video that extended a print magazine ad into a mobile experience through a QR code. I composited stock video clips with brand elements to give the campaign a more interactive digital layer.
I had the pleasure of hiring April while at Research Now as we migrated to a highly video-centric communication approach we needed someone who had excellent editing skills and could bring a script to life… and we found that person in April. She excelled at multimedia production in we cranked out some high creative and compelling videos. One of her finest hours was when we reinvented print by creating an interactive print ad…you scanned the QR code and placed your phone strategically on the ad… the video interacted with the ad and brought it to life We had over 400 views. She’s quite impressive.
PCI Oral History Project Podcast Promotions
PCI needed simple promotional videos to support the Oral History Project Podcast, using the podcast branding I designed. The goal was to create short, engaging motion pieces that could highlight memorable stories and give the podcast a stronger visual identity.
With limited resources, I created kinetic typography videos using existing brand elements, licensed music, and a lean production approach. The motion style gave the podcast content more energy while keeping the project practical and budget-conscious.
Skills demonstrated:
Kinetic typography, podcast promotion, brand extension, motion graphics, resourceful production, and social/video content support.
I worked with a sensational talent, Kaitlin Worley Strain who wrote, produced, voiced, and edited this podcast that highlighted some of the best stories PCI documented.
