APRIL HAMILTON
Résumé
Internal Communications | Employee Experience | Creative Production
Professional summary
I create the messages, experiences, and systems that help people understand what their company is doing, why it matters, and where they fit.
For more than 20 years, I’ve supported leaders, employees, sales teams, and customers through executive presentations, global town halls, employee video, intranets, culture and recognition content, product education, web, social media, and live production.
Much of my judgment was built working directly with CEOs, COOs, CHROs, CFOs, and senior leadership teams—learning how the business is run, then turning those priorities into clear, human communication.
I can find the structure, challenge a buried message, design the asset, run the live moment, and build the workflow that makes the next one easier.
Build the system. Shape the message. Make the moment land.

The work behind the résumé
These case studies show the decisions, constraints, wrong turns, technical problem-solving, and hands-on production behind the finished work.
Building a Global Live Stream in Seven Days
A sensitive executive communication had to reach employees across several regions. I volunteered to build the live-broadcast solution—and had seven days to make it work.
Keeping a Fully Remote Workforce Connected
A recurring communication rhythm built across CEO content, weekly video, intranet publishing, company updates, quarterly meetings, and culture communications.
Using AI to Untangle a Video Workflow
I used AI as a thinking partner to map a complicated production process, expose exceptions and missing decisions, and design a clearer monday.com system.
Reshaping a 45-Slide Quarterly Business Meeting
A fast-turn production assignment became a full presentation system balancing business information, leadership messaging, recognition, energy, and usability.
Experience
A career that began in broadcast production and grew into creative communications, employee experience, executive support, digital platforms, and the systems connecting all of it.

Looking for someone who can shape the message and build what it needs?
I’m interested in internal communications, employee experience, executive communications, creative communications, multimedia, and related roles where the work needs both judgment and hands-on production.
