Recommendation
This recommendation captures the kind of work I enjoy most: connecting communications, marketing, culture, and digital platforms into a clearer employee experience.
“I sought April out to help us with our internal communications, marketing, and company intranet. She’s the absolute best. Creative, smart, amazing judgment, and a true student of culture as the lens for all communications. I am so excited to be working with her for the second time.”
How I Approach Print, Event & Presentation Collateral
I approach collateral design as communication design first. Before choosing a layout, format, or visual style, I look at the message, the audience, the channel, and what the piece needs to accomplish.
My process usually includes organizing information, clarifying the message, creating a clear visual hierarchy, applying brand standards, adapting the design for different formats, and preparing materials that are practical for real-world use.
Whether the final piece is a brochure, flyer, poster, handout, email layout, presentation slide, event sign, conference graphic, or campaign asset, my goal is to make the information clear, polished, and useful.
